When it comes to shopping for a new mattress, there are tons of mattress review sites that you can choose from. Unfortunately, many of these sites have serious conflicts of interest, so you may want to take their recommendations with a grain of salt.

When a customer uses that link to purchase a product, the review site will get a commission. It’s not hard to see that a site might give a product a better review if they’re getting a cut of the sales.
Some review sites are even owned by mattress brands, which makes the conflict of interest especially precarious.
At The Original Mattress Factory, we do not pay for reviews (and we definitely don’t own any review sites). We always strive for a transparent approach to manufacturing and sales, so this tactic simply doesn’t line up with our company philosophy.
Ask your friends and family
Instead of placing too much stock in these mattress review sites, we recommend that you turn to your friends and family for their recommendations. Ask around about where your loved ones have shopped in the past. What was their experience? How is their current mattress holding up? Would they recommend it, or would they suggest trying something else?
These recommendations can be a great place to start your mattress-buying journey, and you can trust your friends and family to give you honest reviews.
What works for someone else might not work for you
Mattresses are a very personal purchase. The comfort, durability, support, and price needs can vary drastically from person to person. What works for someone else might not be a perfect fit for you — and that’s OK! Ultimately, the decision is yours.
